Dundas Legion Banquet Hall Rental Rates

All rentals require a deposit of $200.00 paid within 10 days of booking.

This includes a $100.00 refundable damage deposit and a $100.00 confirmation deposit.

Damage in excess of the $100.00 deposit will be charged to the renter.

Rental deposit is refundable providing a cancellation receipt has been issued by the Branch at least 60 days prior to the date of the booking.

Renter must accept responsibility for conduct of his/her guests.  No person under the age of majority will be served.

Identification may be requested and service will be withheld until provided and the steward satisfied.  If a guest provides alcoholic beverages for another guest who has been denied service from the bar steward that person will be asked to vacate the premises.  Should they fail to vacate the premises service will be withdrawn until such time as they do.

Children must be kept under control at all times.

Professional caterers are not allowed to serve or provide meals for functions.  Legion catering or personal provisions only are allowed.

Use of kitchen is available for $50.00.  This includes approximately 30 square feet in the refrigerator with access via the small door.  Warming in ovens only (no cooking), and butcher block surface.

Not included are use of coffee pots, pots, pans, utensils, cooking trays, serving dishes, dinnerware, cutlery or serving equipment.

When there are over 125 people in the hall, a second steward is required.

Bar steward(s) will be paid $75.00 each, or $100.00 each for a ticket bar, at the beginning of the evening.

Use of tablecloths $5.00 per tablecloth.
 

Rental Types

               Special Occasion Permits (customer bar)                         $800.00

               You must provide proof of liability insurance for $1.5 million.

               Includes use of glasses, ice, machine pop for mix only.

                Legion Bar                                                                     $300.00

                Prices include all usual branch bar services.

                No Bar                                                                            $300.00

                Includes use of glasses only.

                Includes set up if notified, must be finished by 7:00pm.

*Applicable taxes are included in the above prices.

*Minors are to be identified to bar steward.  Customer is responsible for minors.  Any unauthorized use of Legion equipment will forfeit refund of damage deposit.

*No drinks to be taken outside - smoking only in designated area outside.
